An educator, certified life coach and lifelong servant leader who has spent her career helping young people and families grow into who they are meant to be.
About Carolyn
Carolyn J. Vaughn leads iCareKC with the heart of a teacher and the skills of a coach. Her career began in the classroom as an educator in the Kansas City, Kansas Public School District, after earning a bachelor's degree in Education from Kansas State University and a master's degree in Special Education from Emporia State University.
Carolyn is a Certified Professional Life Coach credentialed by the International Coaching Federation, and a member of the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team for coaching, speaking, leadership and training development. Her training and enthusiastic, "hang in there with you" style make a winning coaching combination.
She is also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator and trainer, guiding engaged and married couples through assessments that give them a realistic picture of their relationship and the tools to strengthen it.
For many years Carolyn has served at Evangelistic Center Church in many ministry roles. She has hosted empowerment workshops, women's conferences and seminars, all shaped by her continual desire to be of service to others.

Carolyn is a wife, mother and grandmother, and she finds boundless joy in time with her family. She and her husband have been married for 46 years, and their three adult sons and their families are a constant joy in her life.
